The 2nd Annual Braxton County Fall Farm Crawl is here! Join us for a free, family-friendly day of exploring farms, meeting local producers, and experiencing hands-on demonstrations across Braxton County. Guests can travel a self-guided route to participating farms or visit our central vendor hubs in Gassaway and Sutton to shop local products and enjoy activities.

🐐 On-Farm Stops

• In the Nook Farm (Burnsville) – Hydrosols, teas, fresh herbs, and crafts. Activity: Create your own herb wreaths & bouquets.

• Friend-Sheep Suffolks & Club Lambs (Exchange) – Lamb products. Activity: Sheep shearing demo & felted soap craft.

• Mountain Girl Acres / Molly Goat Soap (Flatwoods) – Goat milk soaps, dairy goats, and beef cattle. Activity: Pet and feed the goats.

• Heavner Family Farm (Burnsville) – U-pick flowers, barn quilts, and garden-themed crafts. Activity: Sunflower wall hangings & mini barn quilt projects.

• Frametown VFD & Frametown Trailblazers 4-H (Frametown) – Fresh apple butter making. Activity: Watch apple butter cooked the traditional way.

• Ellen’s Pigs (Flatwoods) – Educational pig farm tour and presentations about pig care and farming.

• Trailhead Farm Meats & More (Gassaway) – Local meats, smoked cheese, jams, eggs, and animal shares. Activity: Meet and feed piglets (some may even be available for adoption!).

🧺 Central Vendor Market

Vendors will be set up at Trailhead Farm Meats & More and at the Sutton Farmers Market during the Sutton Fall Festival.

Featured vendors include:

• EarthStone Hollow Dairy – Goat milk soaps, lotions, lip balms, jewelry, and (possibly) goats to feed.

• Heavenly Manna Baking – Fresh baked goods and jams, plus talks on canning, baking, and homesteading.

• Mystic Hollow Goat Milk Soap Co. – Handmade goat milk soap with demonstrations.

• Soaps, Crafts, and More (Elisha George) – Unique soaps and handmade crafts.

• Maranda Rose – Artisan cold-process soaps.
